Christmas 2005

After last year's disco-extravaganza Thai meal, this year was always going to be slightly more sedate. So it was traditional Christmas grub for most people in a warm pub complete with festive music.

Christmas Meal (No. 1) 2004

More by accident than design, we managed to have two tower Christmas meals within days of each other. Fortunately, cameras only made the first one. One of the toys in a cracker was a metal puzzle which features on a number of the pictures, normally with much concentration on the user's face!

Tower Christmas Meal - 11 December 2003

A great turnout for the festive occasion and much merriment was had in the Rising Sun, the Balti Massala and the White Hart in Hazel Grove.

Tower Curry - Maundy Thursday 2003

During Holy Week it is traditional that church bells remain silent. On Maundy Thursday they are especially silent. 

As we couldn't ring the bells, we did the next best thing and visited the local Balti house.
