Getting in touch

I hope that many of your questions about church bell ringing and in particular about the ringing at Norbury have been answered. Set out below are some additional details plus the opportunity to get in touch, either by email or by telephone.

Ringing Times

Practice Night:

Thursday 8:00pm - 9:30pm

Sunday Services:

Morning Service: 9:45am  (service starts at 10:15am)
Evensong:  6:00pm  (service starts at 6:30pm)

It is also worth checking out the tower calendar for other times when we may be ringing.

Can I just turn up?

You can, but I'd recommend getting in touch first, especially if you're visiting from a distance, just in case for some reason we have to cancel. We tend to ring for Evensong by arrangement rather than as a matter of course.

Can I email the tower?

Please fill in the boxes below and I'll respond as soon as I can.

Actually, I'd prefer to 'phone!

OK, you can speak to Simeon on 07734 256445 - yes it's a mobile, but it saves giving a list of phone numbers depending on what time of day it is!!!

Where are you - I can't find Norbury on my map!

Whilst the "village" is called Hazel Grove, the tower retains the name of the old parish of Norbury. Helpfully, only the former is usually mentioned.

Find Stockport and trace the A6 south through Hazel Grove. You will see the road forks into two; the A6 to Buxton and the A523 to Macclesfield. The church is just before this junction on the right (as you travel south from Stockport). There is a car park next to the church which is accessed from the main road in front of the church.

Click here to see this on the map.
